Anne Gardner asked a question

Dear Russ-

Almost 10 years ago now I interviewed you for an article in USTA magazine about your impending selection to the USTA Hall of Fame. One of the things that remains most memorable from that day was stepping into your office, surrounded by all those metal file cabinets, chock full of your photographs. It was like being a "kid in a candy shop" for me, a writer yes but first and foremost a longtime tennis fan.

Back then I was living in the Parker Tavern, part of the caretaker's team, while I was attending graduate school. Now, in 2015, I have finished graduate school, gotten ordained, and now work up the street in Andover at Phillips Academy.

So imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to discover the message below in my inbox. It brought back such wonderful memories for me that I knew I just had to reach out to you once again. Hopefully this email address is still valid.

I hope all is well. Would love to touch base with you once again. Let me know if that might be possible!

With thanks-
Anne

Hi Anne

My name is Carlos and I'm a photography student living in Melbourne, Australia. Having read the article you wrote on Russ Adams recently, I was wondering if you could please send me some links with photographs taken by Russ as I am finding it really hard to find some on google. I am also a tennis aficionado and I am inspired by Russ and I would like one day to asdo make a living by taking tennis photographs.

Thank you very much, kind regards,

Carlos Espino
